Performance

The ALTA Lightweight Crank Pulley increases horsepower and torque by reducing rotational mass. The 0% Stock Size version maintains factory diameter while delivering faster engine response with no added vibration, bearing stress, or charging issues. The +2% Overdrive version offers the same lightweight benefits but increases crank diameter. On supercharged models, this spins the supercharger faster for safely increased boost and performance.

Construction

Machined from high strength 6061 T6 aluminum, the ALTA Lightweight Crank Pulley is engineered for strength, durability, and reduced rotational mass. The 0% pulley weighs 0.90 lbs, while the +2% Overdrive version weighs 1.0 lb. Unlike the factory two-piece pulley design, which is known to separate and cause tensioner damage, the ALTA one piece construction eliminates this common failure point for improved long-term reliability.

Two Size Options

The 0% Stock Size pulley maintains factory crank diameter, making it ideal for drivers who want improved response and reliability while keeping OEM boost levels. The +2% Overdrive pulley slightly increases crank diameter to spin the supercharger faster. This effectively increases boost, turning a 15% pulley into a 17%, and a 17% into a 19%. The larger diameter also improves belt wrap, helping reduce slip and decrease belt wear under load.
