Silicone Intake Hoses

The ALTA Five-Ply Silicone Elbow included with our intake, is rated for 200psi, and 400 degrees. Like other ALTA products this part is over built to ensure a lifetime of trouble-free use. This is one of the key features to our intake as the bend provides the proper MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor reading and ensures no check engine lights.

Sound

With an ALTA intake system, your car will make a throaty, deep tone on throttle that is undeniably modified. You will be able to hear your supercharger whining, both stock and aftermarket.

Aluminum Intake Box

The ALTA air box was designed with lightweight aluminum. This provides a stiff, strong, and corrosion proof shroud for the ALTA high-flow foam filter and a connection point for the fresh air tube. With a black or red wrinkle finish, powdercoat is applied to keep things looking clean and finished for that show appearance under the hood.

Foam Filter

Our high flow foam filter reduces intake restriction and expands airflow surface area for improved performance. The multi layer foam design traps dirt at multiple levels, maintaining filtration efficiency without reducing horsepower as the filter gets dirty.

Cold Air Intake

The ALTA Intake removes the OEM hood scoop screen to deliver consistent ambient air to the filter. While not fender mounted, it maintains steady cold airflow for improved efficiency and dyno proven horsepower gains.

No Check Engine Lights

The ALTA Intake is engineered to minimize turbulence around the MAF sensor, preventing check engine lights and improper air fuel ratios. The result is reliable performance, proper fuel economy, and added engine protection.
